AEP turnout: 21.99% of registered voters turn out to vote by 1:00 PM on Sunday

By 1:00 PM, 3,960,071 voters had cast their ballots in the first round of the presidential elections, representing 21.99% of the number of registered voters, according to real-time data provided by the Permanent Electoral Authority (AEP).
In urban areas, 2,378,702 voters turned out to vote, while in rural areas, 1,581,369 voters cast their ballots.
A total of 31,171 voters cast their vote using mobile ballot boxes.
Of the 3,960,071 voters who voted by 1:00 PM, 360,374 voted abroad, with 356,147 voting on supplementary lists and 4,227 voting by mail.
