AEP turnout: 11.34% of total voters turn out to vote by 11 AM on Sunday

By 11:00 AM on Sunday, 2,042,459 voters, representing 11.34% of those registered on the electoral lists, had voted in the first round of the presidential elections, according to real-time data provided by the Permanent Electoral Authority (AEP).
In urban areas, 1,245,776 voters cast their ballots, while in rural areas, 796,683 voters turned out to vote.
6,276 voters expressed their preference using mobile ballot boxes.
Out of the 2,042,459 voters who had voted by 11:00 AM, 260,345 voted abroad, with 256,118 voting on supplementary lists and 4,227 voting by mail.
