CEC Bank wins contract for card payment at Bucharest metro

Metrorex signed on Thursday with CEC Bank the sectoral contract for contactless payments at metro tellers, automatic machines and turnstiles, the value of which amounts to 3.022 million lei, excluding VAT.
According to a press release from the company, sent to AGERPRES on Thursday, the contract was awarded based on an open tender procedure, for a period of 4 years, to CEC Bank, whose bid was declared the winner.
The contract will enter into force on March 1, 2025, until then the services will be provided by BCR.
