Tennis player Bogdan Pavel qualifies for second round of ITF tournament in Bucharest

Bucharest, Feb 11 /Agerpres/ – Tennis player Bogdan Pavel, a member of the Romanian Davis Cup team, qualified for the second round of the ITF tournament in Bucharest, with a total prize pool of 15,000 dollars and held indoors at the National Tennis Center in Bucharest, by defeating Rares Andrei Golescu 6-2, 6-1 on Tuesday.

Three other Romanians lost in the first round: Luca Preda, Stefan Palosi and Stefan Adrian Andreescu.
